The Minneapolis Emergency PrepareFair 2011 (MEP 2011) will take place in the IDS Crystal Court and on Nicollet Mall Wednesday, September 28, 2011 and we want your organization to participate.
The MEP 2011 will be a collaboration of public and volunteer organizations with the purpose of educating those who manage, secure, work, live or visit downtown Minneapolis to prepare for all hazards. This audience includes members of the ring cities, which gives us opportunity to reach those far from the downtown community itself.
Organization displays will be limited to one 8’ table, cloth, and chair with enough room for 40 tables. A limited number of electrical outlets are available on a greatest need basis. Further logistical information will be sent in advance of the event. No for-profit organization may participate within the IDS Crystal Court, but are welcome to display emergency response vehicles on Nicollet Mall by registering.
The event has the full support of the Minneapolis Downtown Emergency Advisory Committee (DEAC): a program of the Downtown Improvement District (DID), Downtown Corporate partners and the Minneapolis Police and Fire Departments.
If you would like us to hold space for your organization and/or emergency response vehicle, please complete the information requested at this link by July 31, 2011: Registration: Minneapolis Emergency PrepareFair 2011. Note: Please register your organization and vehicle at the same time.
If you have questions please call Ed Povlinski.
Thank you and we hope to see you at the MEP 2011.
